| A tropical fruit orchard is adjacent to Mataranka Cabins. The growing of commercial mangos and tropical citrus crops has been pioneered in the region by Mataranka Cabins. Mangos, lemons, Tahitian limes and red-fleshed grapefruit are harvested seasonally.
Mangos Mataranka region produces very clean, fibre free Kensington Pride mangos under irrigation. Mataranka fruit is of excellent quality and has particularly good market appearance. The mangos harvest late October to mid-November each year. |

| Red-fleshed grapefruit
Mataranka grown sweet red-flesh grapefruit – Rio and Flame varieties – have high juice and sugar content and low acid. Grapefruit harvest February / March. Lemons Summer lemons – Lisbon and Eureka varieties – harvest in December and January. These lemons have a high juice content and reach optimum quality before turning yellow. The lemons are supplied as natural green or de-greened yellow. Tahitian Limes Perfectly ready for the optimum marketing season – harvesting August September – the limes are very high in juice content. |
